Elise Bates President, Cofounder
Elise has twelve years of for-profit marketing and strategy consulting experience at Mainspring (now IBM), Digitas, and Monitor Company (now Deloitte). She spent the majority of her time with clients in the Retail Industry (Hallmark, Kraft Foods) and the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices Industries (Boston Scientific, Merck, Pharmacia). After having her two children, Elise spent eight years on several local non-profit Boards, including President of the Fairfield Women’s Exchange. Further, she led the strategic planning process for Near & Far Aid as well as the Westport Library. Elise earned a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Greg Bates Board Member, Cofounder
Greg worked for the General Electric Company for sixteen years (1994-2010). During his time at GE, Greg worked in Consumer Finance, Technology and Real Estate. From 2002-2010, he was a Managing Director at GE Real Estate. In 2011, Greg joined Building and Land Technology as their Investment Funds Manager to launch and manage BLT's real estate private equity funds. Greg earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Tom Hall Board Member, Cofounder
Tom is a senior partner at Fabiani Cohen & Hall, LLP, a 35 attorney law firm specializing in construction litigation with offices in New York City and New Haven, CT, where he is actively involved in all aspects of firm management. Tom's practice involves supervising ongoing civil litigation, providing legal counsel and taking significant cases to trial for the firm's clients which include major real estate developers, regional and international contractors, local municipalities, public authorities and both domestic and UK based insurers. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and is a cum laude graduate of New York Law School.
Andy Goldberg Board Member
Andy has 19 years of marketing and advertising experience. He worked advertising agencies including Margetoes|Fertitta + Partners, BBH and Wieden+Kennedy. Currently Andy is the Chief Creative Officer at GE, responsible for overseeing the strategy, creative content, media and brand. Andy graduated from Leigh University and currently lives in Weston, CT with his wife and two children. Andy has a child with multiple food allergies.
Andrew Grieve Board Member
Andrew is a Partner and Director at Bain & Company, a leading global strategy consulting firm. He co-leads the firm’s North American Industrials Private Equity practice, working for the world’s most successful financial investors and their portfolio companies. Andrew was formerly a marketing executive for Caesars Entertainment and worked in finance for Baxter International. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, a BS from the University of Illinois Gies College of Business, and studied at the Economics University in Vienna, Austria. Andrew lives in Chicago with his wife and three children (two of whom live with life-threatening food allergies).
Ellen-Jane Moss Board Member
Ellen-Jane worked in the financial services industry for over 14 years, focusing her time on the credit markets where she originated, structured and syndicated leveraged loans across the U.S and Canada. She most recently worked at Brightwood Capital Advisors, LLC and previously at Goldman, Sachs & Co. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
Ashley McGrail Board Member
Ashley has 16 years of business development and strategic partnerships experience. She is currently a Vice President of Business Development at Mastercard, responsible for developing new co-branded partnerships. Her prior work experience includes multiple positions across strategy, account management and new business development at American Express and The Beanstalk Group. Ashley graduated with honors from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Marketing and Management and received a BA Magna Cum Laude from Hamilton College.
Kim Hall Cofounder
Kim has fourteen years of sales and marketing experience both locally and globally. She worked for Ogilvy and Mather, Digitas, and Saatchi & Saatchi on leading brands including IBM, Federal Express and Verizon. Kim switched from agency side to managing roles in several internet companies including Mediaplex, Cybuy and Doubleclick. After having her two children, Kim worked as an Agent with Halstead Real Estate for seven years. Kim earned a bachelor’s degree from Skidmore College and attended the University of Business and Economics in Bejing China.
Leslie Noland Director of Marketing
Leslie Noland earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication from The University of Georgia. She worked for Lincoln Financial Advisors in Atlanta from 1993-1999. Leslie retired from her role as Vice President of the Employee Benefits Division to focus her energy on her family and community. She is an avid supporter of many local charities. She serves on the Friends of Pediatrics Board at Bridgeport Hospital and is a tireless supporter of the Bridgeport Rescue Mission , having recently founding the Thanks4Giving Fairfield volunteer team. She also regularly donates her time to the Community Plates organization. She is a Past President of her children’s elementary school PTA. While her sons attended Fairfield Country Day School, Leslie served as Co-President of the Parents Association and was a Chairwoman of their Gala in 2014. She currently is a Trustee on the Board. In November of 2016, Leslie joined the non-profit End Allergies Together to head their marketing efforts.
Jackie Ourman Director of Partnerships and Outreach
Jackie was a Vice President, Human Resources Generalist in the Investment Banking and Fixed Income Divisions at Bank of America, Citigroup and also at State Farm Insurance for 7 years. After having children with life-threatening food allergies and celiac disease, and finding out she had celiac disease herself, Jackie attended the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC and began a food blog with recipes and resources for those living with similar issues. Upon graduating from the Culinary Management and Arts programs with honors, Jackie worked in the test kitchens at Bon Appétit Magazine and Epicurious. She is an editor at FeedFeed and Huffington Post and has contributed to various publications including Food & Wine. Jackie also continues to be the editor, content and social media manager for her blog, Celiac and Allergy Friendly Epicurean, a valued resource in the food allergy and celiac communities. Jackie is passionate about working towards finding a cure for life-threatening food allergies and has partnered with End Allergies Together nearly from its inception until recently becoming the Director of Partnerships and Outreach.
